What is the Role of the Adult in Youth-Led Action?
This webinar is appropriate for anyone working with youth who would like to reflect on ways they can best support them in becoming changemakers, who find themselves straddling the impulse to do work for kids and to turn them loose entirely! Participants will learn specific stories of youth action and reflect on what role we can take as humane educators, parents, and youth workers who wish to support and inspire youth to get involved and create change. Attendees will also reflect on their own tendencies as teachers and leaders and address when it might be time to step forward or to step back. Participants will emerge with a new framework to help them be true support for the changemakers in their lives.
